How it works
It joins the group and follows up the rest.
What Goxy does, step by step, from setup to the closing of a task.
Setup
Running in three steps.
-
Describe your team
Who is on it, who manages, what the working hours are. That is the whole setup.
-
Keep writing as usual
Ask for work on WhatsApp like you always do. Goxy opens the task, checks with the owner and tells the team.
-
Let Goxy follow up
It reminds when the time comes, asks how it is going and reports what is finished. You step in only where a decision is needed.
A task's day
Written at 9:12 am, done at 2:10 pm.
The times are an example; the rules follow your own working hours.
-
09:12
The request is written to the group
Selin tags Yusuf and asks for the quote to be sent to the client by 3 pm today.
-
09:12
Goxy opens the task
It reads the task, the owner and the time from the message and announces task G-0142 to the group.
-
09:13
Yusuf accepts
Goxy asks Yusuf in a direct message. Yusuf taps “Accept”; the task is now his.
-
11:00
Daytime check-in
“How is it going?” Yusuf answers with a percentage. If he gave an update himself a short while ago, this question is skipped.
-
13:00
Last reminder
Two working hours before the deadline: “Will it be ready?” If it will not, the new date goes to Selin for approval.
-
14:10
Done
Yusuf taps “Done”. Selin and the group get the notice: “finished at 2:10 pm”.
-
15:00
What if it had not been done?
Goxy would have asked Yusuf how things stand first; if that led nowhere, it would have taken the matter to the manager.
Two channels
The group is for everyone, the direct message is for one person.
What everyone needs to know stays in the group; what belongs to one person stays in a direct message. That way the group does not get crowded.
In the team group
- Requests and assignments
- “Task opened” announcements
- “Finished at 2:10 pm” notices
In a direct message
- Reminders and status questions
- Buttons answered with one tap
- Confirmation questions and requests for a new date
Overdue
What happens, in order, when a task runs late?
Nobody is blamed; the matter goes to the right person at the right time.
-
First it reminds
Two working hours before the deadline it asks the owner: on track, or is a new date needed?
-
Then it asks the owner
If the time has passed, it asks how things stand and for a new date.
-
Finally it goes to the manager
If that leads nowhere, the manager is told: they talk to the owner themselves, reassign the task or lower its priority.
Try it
Would Goxy write at this hour?
Move the time. Example working hours: weekdays 09:00–18:00.
Work is over: the reminder waits and goes out at 09:00 on the next working day.
Without disturbing
It follows up, but it does not nag.
-
No messages outside working hours
Reminders run on your working hours. Only critical tasks are followed around the clock.
-
Daily message limit
The follow-up messages one person gets in a day are limited; questions that fall close together are combined into one message.
-
Focus mode
Someone who writes “Focus 2 hours” is reached only by critical tasks during that time.
-
No needless questions
If the person has already reported progress on their own, the next check is skipped.
Goxy is on its way.
We are still building and testing. Write to us to ask a question or to hear when it opens.
